FROM DISCOVERED TO ACTIONABLE

More intelligence at every tier means less research left for your team to do.

Radar is designed to take work out of the gap between “there might be a project” and “we know whether to pursue it.” Your team can spend more time pricing, relationship-building and making pursuit decisions.

1. FIND

Radar searches public procurement, universities, municipalities, planning/development activity, GC channels and credible construction sources so your team is not rebuilding the opportunity list from scratch.

2. MATCH

Your Company Pursuit Profile defines trades, geography, package size, project preferences, constraints and growth appetite so the market is filtered around work that actually fits you.

3. RESEARCH

We qualify the project, organize source evidence and build pursuit intelligence. Higher tiers add economics, risk, competition, named contacts and deeper stakeholder research.

4. ACT + TRACK

Your team receives a ranked opportunity with a concrete next move, while Radar continues monitoring material changes instead of leaving stale opportunities in the active set.

BUY BACK PURSUIT CAPACITY

Your estimator’s most expensive task shouldn’t be searching Google.

Construction research consistently shows that finding and organizing information consumes meaningful employee time. Radar is built to shift more of that capacity toward decisions, estimates, relationships and pursuits.

13 hrs
Average weekly time looking for role-required dataAutodesk’s 2025 construction research surveyed more than 3,500 industry leaders and experts. Digital leaders spent about two fewer hours per week on the same task.
5.5 hrs
Weekly time looking specifically for project data/informationAn earlier FMI/PlanGrid study of construction professionals identified project-data searching as one part of roughly 35% of time spent on non-optimal activities.
FINDRadar searches the market.
RESEARCHRadar builds the pursuit intelligence.
ACTYour team decides, prices and makes contact.

Important context: these studies measure construction information/data work broadly — not hours spent finding new bid opportunities and not guaranteed Radar savings. They show why information hunting is a real labor cost. Sources: Autodesk 2025 construction research and FMI/PlanGrid Construction Disconnected.

ILLUSTRATIVE ROI CALCULATOR

What is pursuit research costing your company?

Example assumptions are prefilled. Replace them with your own team’s numbers.

$31,200estimated annual research labor
13.0 hrspotential capacity recovered / month
$9,360/yearillustrative labor-capacity value compared with $4,188/year subscription cost

Illustrative estimate only. Actual time savings vary by company, workflow, plan and use. This calculator values labor capacity only; it does not assume additional contract wins, revenue or profit.

You’re not buying another bid list. You’re buying back pursuit capacity.

Search time + project research + contact research + qualification + management review can all sit between discovery and action. Higher tiers are designed to perform more of that work before the opportunity reaches your team.

REGIONAL PURSUIT PORTFOLIO

One brief. Multiple owners, jobsites and opportunity stages.

The product is not one bid alert at a time. Each weekly delivery is a tailored regional portfolio: the best current fits first, selected growth opportunities next, and broader market intelligence only when the customer wants it.

PERSONALIZED PURSUIT INTELLIGENCE

Not every good project is a good project for you.

Radar separates opportunity quality from company fit, then places each project into a report bucket the subscriber understands.

TWO SCORES. DIFFERENT QUESTIONS.

A strong job can still be the wrong job.

PURSUIT SCORE

YOUR COMPANY MATCH
96
Does it fit your business?

Company Match considers trade/scope, package size, geography, project type, specialties, eligibility, strategic targets and current timing/capacity.

Every project tells you why it is in the report.

CORE FIT

Inside the company's ideal trade-package range and aligned with its other stated pursuit preferences.

WORKABLE FIT

Not necessarily perfect, but comfortably inside what the contractor normally handles.

STRETCH / GROWTH

Above the normal range but inside a growth ceiling the customer explicitly approved.

MARKET WATCH

Outside normal pursuit parameters but strategically useful for broader market awareness when enabled.

FocusedMostly ideal and workable jobs; minimal stretch/noise.
BalancedBest-fit work first with a controlled amount of growth and market awareness.
GrowthIntentionally exposes more larger/stretch opportunities.
BroadWider regional intelligence for teams that want more market visibility.
1

Customer defines the boundaries

The Welcome Questionnaire captures minimum, ideal, normal maximum and stretch ceiling along with geography, verticals, trade scope and exclusions.

2

Every matching run uses the profile

New projects and material project updates are recalculated against the stored profile, so different contractors see different priority lists from the same regional market.

3

Feedback improves recommendations

“Too large,” “Interested,” “Wrong scope,” “Already pursuing,” “Won” and similar feedback can inform suggested refinements without silently changing hard limits.

Customer-control rule: Radar may recommend a profile adjustment when behavior suggests the company is pursuing different work, but a hard size limit, exclusion or targeting preference should not be changed without customer approval.
PREMIUM PURSUIT INTELLIGENCE

Stop rediscovering the project after Radar finds it.

Higher tiers perform more of the research between discovery and pursuit — helping your team get to a useful call, email, go/no-go decision or estimate faster.

SEE EXACTLY WHAT YOU GET

Every tier gets the portfolio. Higher tiers add intelligence to every project.

The regional brief above is the baseline experience. The drill-down below uses one fictional project only to show how the same project card becomes richer as the subscription level increases.

Weekly Pursuit Brief
Every week

A ranked regional portfolio of relevant opportunities with fit labels, scope, source links, basic contact path and a next action on each project.

Pro Pursuit
Weekly + between-brief alerts

Your weekly intelligence plus Company Match scoring and Exceptional Match alerts when qualifying projects surface during monitoring. Includes 1 custom research request/month.

Territory Partner
Weekly portfolio + priority tracking

A ranked pursuit portfolio, priority alerts as exceptional fits/material changes surface, higher-touch tracking, and 3 custom investigations/month.

Additive-tier rule: Pro never removes the Weekly project breakdown, source links or next action. Territory never removes Pro intelligence. Each higher tier keeps everything below it and adds another decision layer.

CONTACT + INTRODUCTION INTELLIGENCE

Find the opportunity. Then get to the right people faster.

Higher tiers are designed to remove one of the slowest parts of construction business development: figuring out who matters, how to reach them legitimately, and what to say first. Radar does that research before your team burns hours chasing the wrong inbox.

THE UPGRADE VALUE

We bring the pursuit path to your team.

For strong-fit projects, Radar does more than list a name. We research the public project team, identify the most relevant legitimate contact routes, explain each person's likely role, and prepare a concise first-touch brief your estimator or BD lead can act on quickly.

1Who matters: primary and backup project-team routes, not a random company directory dump.
2Why they matter: procurement, preconstruction, estimating, engineering or owner-side role and relevance.
3How to reach them: verified public business email/phone/profile/portal when supportable.
4What to say first: project-specific email/call starter so your team begins with context instead of a cold generic pitch.
Goal: reduce time-to-first-qualified-outreach

Why this route matters

Ready-to-edit first-touch starter

Subject: Mechanical coverage — Public Safety Complex HVAC Modernization

Jordan — we are reviewing the HVAC modernization package and the chiller/AHU/BAS scope appears closely aligned with our commercial mechanical work in Central Ohio. Are you the right person for mechanical bidder coverage, or is there someone on your estimating team we should coordinate with? We can review the current documents immediately and confirm interest quickly.

DAY 0Primary GC/preconstruction route with project-specific introduction.
DAY 2If no response, use the verified secondary estimating/procurement route.
DAY 4–5Follow up only with a legitimate project update, document question or confirmed interest.

Pro: first-contact acceleration

For high-fit opportunities, receive named public professionals when verifiable, why they matter, the recommended legitimate contact route, and a ready-to-edit first-touch message/call brief.

Territory: multi-threaded pursuit map

For priority pursuits, Radar goes deeper across owner, procurement, engineer, GC/preconstruction and other relevant routes, then recommends who to approach first, next and why, with follow-up/watch sequencing as the pursuit changes.

Important: Radar does not fabricate private emails, claim unverified project assignments, impersonate the subscriber, or guarantee a response/bid invitation. The value is faster, better-informed outreach using legitimate public business information and a prepared introduction path.
WHAT EACH SUBSCRIPTION ACTUALLY RESEARCHES

The plans differ in intelligence depth — not just alert frequency.

Every tier starts with the same clean project-by-project portfolio structure and source links. Higher tiers keep that complete foundation and perform progressively more of the expensive research work before the opportunity reaches your team: who matters, what the package may be worth, who may compete, what could hurt margin, and where the opportunity should rank against the rest of your pipeline.

Think of it as three levels of analyst support.

Weekly finds and qualifies the work. Pro investigates whether the work fits your company and gives you a stronger route into the pursuit. Territory treats your active market like a managed pursuit portfolio and helps decide where scarce estimator and BD time should go first.

What “contact intelligence” means

Radar researches legitimate public professional information. When verifiable, premium reports can include named professionals, titles, public business email/phone, company profiles, procurement links, pre-bid records and recommended contact use. We do not fabricate private emails or claim someone is assigned to a job without support. If a named contact cannot be responsibly verified, we provide the strongest legitimate procurement, GC estimating or project-team route instead.

FAQ

Questions before you subscribe

How does the free first report work?

New Weekly and Pro customers save a payment method through Stripe but pay $0 at signup. After the Company Pursuit Profile is completed, Radar prepares a fresh personalized report from current market research. Reports are scheduled for 10:00 AM Eastern on Mondays. Complete checkout and your profile before the 8:00 AM Eastern Monday processing cutoff and that Monday’s report is free; after the cutoff, the free report moves to the next Monday. The following Monday report is the first paid report. From there, the subscription renews monthly on the customer’s billing-cycle date rather than resetting to the first of the month. Cancel before the first billing date and there is no charge.

If I sign up midweek, do I receive Monday’s old report?

No. We do not want a stale report to be a new customer’s first experience. Tuesday-through-Sunday signups can receive the immediately upcoming Monday report as long as the Company Pursuit Profile is completed before the 8:00 AM Eastern Monday processing cutoff. Reports are scheduled for 10:00 AM Eastern. Customers who finish after the cutoff roll to the following Monday. The Monday after the free report is the first paid report.

Why do you require a payment method for a free report?

Radar performs real company-specific research for each trial account. Requiring a payment method helps keep the offer focused on contractors genuinely evaluating the service while still letting them judge Radar on their own market before paying.

When am I billed each month?

Your first charge happens on the Monday after your free report. That date becomes the billing-cycle anchor for your monthly subscription. For example, if your first paid report and first charge are September 7, your next monthly renewal is October 7—not October 1. Reports continue weekly even though billing is monthly.

How much time will Radar save us?

We do not promise a fixed number. Industry research shows construction professionals spend substantial time locating and analyzing information, but those studies are broader than bid-opportunity research. The ROI calculator above lets you test your own labor assumptions instead of relying on a universal savings claim.

Why does Pro cost more than Weekly?

Because Pro is intended to perform more of the work after an opportunity is discovered: deeper company-fit analysis, contact research, project economics, risk and competition research, exceptional-match alerts and pursuit preparation. The higher price is for more research already performed for your team—not simply more rows of data.

What happens when I change my preferences?

The new profile is saved as a new version and project matches are recalculated. Future briefs use the current approved profile, while prior brief snapshots retain the profile version that produced them. Radar may suggest changes from feedback, but hard limits and exclusions remain customer-controlled.

How do I complete or update my Pursuit Profile?

After Stripe checkout, new subscribers can continue directly into the secure interactive questionnaire. Radar can also send a time-limited profile link by email, and existing customers can request a secure passwordless Customer Dashboard link at any time. The dashboard reloads the saved profile and lets the customer update future targeting preferences. Typing an email address alone is not enough to change a company profile.

Will every customer see the same projects?

No. Radar monitors a regional market, then uses each subscriber's Pursuit Profile to decide what belongs in Core Fit, Workable Fit, Stretch/Growth, Market Watch or Outside Scope. Two contractors can receive very different priority lists from the same underlying opportunity pool.

Can I see larger projects even if they are outside my normal range?

Yes. The Welcome Questionnaire lets you set a separate stretch/growth ceiling and choose Focused, Balanced, Growth or Broad targeting. Stretch work is labeled clearly so it never masquerades as a normal-fit project.

How does Radar keep my report from going stale?

Projects continue to be monitored after discovery. Weekly reports can identify material changes such as addenda, deadline changes, closed submission windows, cancellations, rebids and awards when those statuses are supportable from authoritative sources. Premium tiers can surface important changes between briefs.

Is this just another bid board?

No. Radar filters, scores, enriches and prioritizes opportunities rather than simply forwarding links.

Does every project include contact information?

Every qualified opportunity should include the best legitimate public pursuit contact path we can verify.

Does Radar make the introduction for us?

Radar is designed to streamline the first introduction rather than impersonate your company. Pro provides actionable contact intelligence on high-fit pursuits: a legitimate contact route, preferably a named verified public business contact with role and public email/phone when supportable, why that person matters, and a ready-to-edit project-specific email/call starter. Territory goes further with an expanded stakeholder and resource map, additional legitimate project research, and a recommended contact/follow-up sequence across the pursuit team. Your team remains in control of the actual outreach unless a separately authorized concierge workflow is added in the future.

Do you guarantee awards?

No. Official solicitation documents and owners control. Customers remain responsible for bid decisions and eligibility.

TERMS

Terms of Service

MEP Pursuit Radar provides research, analysis and decision-support information for commercial construction pursuits. It is not a bid guarantee, award guarantee, legal opinion, engineering service or substitute for official solicitation documents.

Customers remain responsible for verifying project scope, deadlines, addenda, eligibility, bonding, licensing and bid requirements. Subscriptions are month-to-month at the price shown at Stripe checkout until canceled.

First Report Free offer

Eligible new Weekly Pursuit Brief and Pro Pursuit customers may begin with one personalized report at no charge while providing a payment method through Stripe. Radar generates that first report after Company Pursuit Profile completion using current research rather than substituting a prior weekly issue. The next available Monday report is free, and the following Monday report begins paid monthly service. The exact free-report and first-billing dates are displayed during checkout. Customers who sign up and complete their profile before an upcoming Monday report is generated receive that upcoming report, including weekend signups. If Monday’s report has already been generated, the free report and first billing date move to the following weekly cycle. Customers who cancel before the first billing date are not charged. Territory Partner is not included in the automatic free-report offer unless separately agreed.
